Dimension 1200s
It’s a Dimension 1200s rapid prototyping machine. It’s the type of machine that can create a plastic prototype of almost anything you can imagine. It works by extruding successive layers of polymer on top of a support structure. It can even print multiple linked components at the same time. For example, if you design a planetary gear train, the Dimension 1200s can print it, such that when it is done, you will enjoy a working model.
We are so pleased with this amazing machine that we will be glad to print your models if you so desire. If you send us a CAD file we will print it, process it, and mail it to you very quickly for a nominal fee. Although our machine has a 10 by 10 by 10 capability, we would appreciate it if you would ensure that the models that you send us fit into a 4 by 4 by 4 inch box – or close to it. You may send us NX files, Step files, sla or stl files or parasolids.
